Where is the Love?

In this present time we as Christians are either quick to distance or to cut people off for minor issues or for things that’s not even a problem at all. This really demonstrates selfishness and an unmerciful heart.

We are all imperfect. We all have faults, issues due to our imperfection. How could we then judge one another in comparison not only to ourselves, but to others? And how can imperfect people judge imperfect people?

For God has been merciful and gracious to us.Why don’t we show mercy and grace for others? For He Loves us selflessly and unconditionally. Why don’t we have the same love for others?

How can we be so proud, when a proud heart is an abomination before God?

Do we then think we’re better because of what we know of God?

To think that we are better because of what we know of God is no different to those who don’t believe in Him. Those which don’t believe in Him, don’t believe in His mercy and grace by the self sacrificial act of His love through His son. Living as atheist. But those who know, live as though they don’t believe, living their lives as practical atheist.

We are not better than anyone. Especially, those that have committed great offences. For it is written. All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Thus, we have absolutely nothing to be proud about. We are to humble ourselves before God. For we deserved death, but God had mercy. If it wasn’t for His grace to pardon our sins through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ, we would not have the hope of salvation. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus.
