Marriage is a gift from God

Marriage is not for everyone. Not everybody was created to bear the responsibility of marriage. Marriage has a special purpose. To each individual has different gifts which all pertains to the glory of God.  For All were created for the glory of God.

Marriage is a gift from God.  It’s a gift where the 2 serve each other selflessly to the honour and glory of God. 

And loves one another unconditionally. 

Husbands are to love their wives as Christ loves the Church. As He serves the Church selflessly. Loves the Church self sacrificially. And loves the Church unconditionally. Wives reciprocate that love back to their husbands.

Demonstrating just as the Church becomes one with Christ in purpose, will and desire, wives become one with their husbands in the same. Submitting to his leadership because he is led by Christ.

In this God is glorified. Not only because God’s love is seen selflessly in the union between husband and wife, but being a illustration of the Gospel message itself.

Most often think marriage is about selfishly serving their needs, wants and expectations. To fulfil their will relative to what they may desire. And have no contentment, having not yet experienced God’s love. Most even believe, they can have as much sex as they want when they get married. Inevitably, going from relationship to relationship, from marriage to marriage. Matching themselves with others who are exactly like themselves.

But if we would only seek God’s will and purpose for our lives according to His word. Seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness where everything else would be naturally added on to us. Commit our lives to Him by faith.

And delight ourselves in the Lord to work all things out for our good. Where He naturally gives us the desires of our hearts, which is in perfect harmony with His will.

We wouldn’t worry so much about the fulfilment of our desires and discontentment.

Since 2010, I've experienced promptings, encouragement as well as assistance from the Holy Spirit. The promptings led me to the word of God. This was the start of my own personal journey as I sought after the truth. God was then calling me as I sought after the truth according to His word. The truth was leading me to the decision to give my life to Him. I gave my life to God on the 28th of January 2012. Instantly, I had the desire to share with others the truth of God, that God is a God of love, truth, righteousness, holiness, mercy and justice. I couldn't keep something like this to myself in a lost and dying world, a world in a fallen state, and a world steeped in confusion concerning the view of who God is. My journey wasn't without struggle though, I realised through suffering we come to know God. To not only be humble, but to be empathic and not detached from people who are suffering. Sometime in 2012, God inspired me to become a writer just after my prayer to fulfill my purpose, the purpose of the reason of my existence. My prayer was a reflection of Isaiah 43:1-7. So I started writing essays pertaining to His word. I shared what I wrote with my family and friends. Therefore, the aspiration to help people globally, came with the realisation to give God the honour and the glory. To be part of making a difference. The inspiration to start blogging was impressed upon me to do. Through prayerful guidence, I believe God has led me to this point, which I believe is for His glory.
