I once heard a story about an ant hill. The ant hill was just kicked over. Killing hundreds or perhaps thousands of ants. And later on in the day, the ant hill came back. The kicking over the ant hill was compared to a natural disaster to the ants, that seem to happened for no apparent reason. But the ants just built another one. The ants have a better understanding why this happened than us. They don’t sit and wollow in their misery. They don’t pity themselves or seek pity from others. And they most certainly don’t ask God why has this happened to us. They just simply continue. Knowing it’s a consequence of sin in this world, and the fact it’s bound to happen.
To then bring into doubt by questioning God’s judgement and divine providence, when it was man who chose sin to be in the world is being proudful. Having a high respect for our choices in regard to freewill, He also has to permit its consequences; and therefore, work things out for our good despite the situation and circumstances which surround it. Irrespective of the issue of sin as well as the issue of sin respectively.
