We are nothing without God. We are absolutely useless without Him. And without Him we can’t even do the most simplest of things. Without Him everything goes wrong. Without Him we’re like blind men who can’t even see what’s infront of us.Without Him we are blind to the truth that is in plain sight. Let alone, think we can lead others to it. We are continually, and forever will be, under His grace and mercy.
We have this propensity to forget and become puffed up within ourselves to think we’re great or better than others.
God permits the foolish things to confound the wise of the world and proudful. And uses the simple and little things to keep us humble lest we become proud. And the sophisticated to demonstrate, that only through Him we can achieve. To also keep us humble and dependent on Him.
God often highlights our inadequacies, idiosyncrasies(strange behaviours), false preconceptions, faults and cherished sins, which needs to change and let go of. Hence, the need to go through trials and tribulations. Sometimes from the smallest to the most difficult. To freely let self go to depend on Him alone by faith.
Without it, we won’t be able to grow and mature in our walk with Christ and develop characters in His likeness. Where there’s no spiritual deepness of the soul. So no matter what we go through, His grace is sufficient for all to overcome. Amen
