Saving Faith

“Faith without works is dead. “And works without faith is also dead. Works without faith only produces dead works. Works motivated by self righteousness and unbelief, when “our righteousness is nothing, but filthy rags.”

And the fact it’s by faith we are justified through Jesus Christ, and not of works, we can only then accept the free gift of God’s love by faith. For a gift is freely given, and can’t be worked for nor bought.

It’s then unbelief to believe it can be worked for. Doubting in His love to be given freely.

By faith we accept the righteousness of God. And receive the Holy Spirit to come and dwell within us.  To actively bear witness of the truth through faith in accordance to His word. “For faith comes by hearing, and hearing the word of God.” And “His word is truth.”

Thus, through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit both works and wills us to act in faith. To fulfil God’s will and purpose as His word says.
