The Sea Of Forgetfulness

God puts our sins in the sea of forgetfulness. Our sins go infinitely deep into nothingness, once we’ve repented and turn to Jesus Christ. It would be as though we have never sinned.

“18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. 19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.” Micah 7:18-19

As God forgives and remembers not our sins and iniquities we have committed against Him, He wants us to not only do the same with others; but forget the sins we have committed. It’s the only way of letting them go completely, and moving forward with our lives. Therefore, by the constant remenicing of our sinful habits and lifestyle that we’ve lived, and sins committed against us, we are not allowing ourself to let them go, and move on with our lives.

Jesus said, to forgive our brother 70 times 7, which is 490 times. Does this mean to forgive our brother 490 times or does it have a deeper meaning?

This means untill the close of probation, the end of the world. Israel was given a 70 weeks probationary period. To finish transgression, make an end of sin. Reconciliation for iniquity. To bring in everlasting righteousness. Sealing up the vision and prophecy. And to anoint the most Holy. Read Daniel 9:24-27

There’s 7 days in a week. 70 times 7 is 490 weeks, which become 490 literal prophetic years of Israel’s probation. For each day is for a year in bible prophecy. Ezekiel 4:6

Due to the rejection of Jesus Christ as their king, Israel lost its national sovereignty as a nation, and was overcome by the second siege of the Roman empire. Ending Israel’s probation. Salvation would then go from the Jews to the gentiles where people would be individually grafted into Jesus to be saved.

This probation also serves as a type of probation for the whole entire world. Not giving an exact time of Christ’s second coming, but a time where we will know that the end is near, and when His second coming is imminent. This is what Jesus was referring to when He said 70 times 7. Meaning untill the the close of probation. The end of the world.

For this reason, God wants us to forgive ourselves and each other. To remember no more our sins we have committed against and wrought in Him through repentance. And also, the sins committed against us by others.
