Who are God’s true people?

Jesus Christ gave His all to save His bride, the Church. Therefore, His bride reciprocates that love by loving Him with her all.

The love reciprocated back is not only to love Him, knowing His love; but to love Him at the same intensity of the depths of His love. Loving Him completely selflessly, and self sacrificially.

It’s this love, which seals the believer in Christ. Before translated at His second coming into heaven.

In the last days, His remnant will be a people who have the faith of Jesus Christ and keep His Commandments. A faith rendering, uncompromisable obedience even unto death. To keep the Commandments out of love to Him through faith.

And is willing to lose all worldly conveniences, and acceptance for their faith.

“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12

Witness in Greek is martus, meaning martyr. This righteousness, witnessed by the law and the prophets was a righteousness by such a faith in the love of God. To be willing to become a martyr than to transgressed God’s Commandments.

For example: Daniel and his friends were willing to die than to worship the golden image of Nebuchadnezzar. They would rather die than to sin against God by transgressing His commandments.

This righteousness is not a righteousness known to the world. Nor is it of the world. This righteousness is alien to us. For it comes from God. And it’s this righteousness, the righteousness by faith, which was witnessed by the law and the prophets. As a response to His love, God is loved with the love He gives to us. A love to the point of self sacrifice to uphold righteousness.

Our righteousness is nothing in comparison. Our righteousness is nothing, but filthy rags. In our own righteousness sin is justified in particular circumstances. We compromise what is right for our own convenience. We sometimes do good selfishly. And we even do good to cover up the bad things we do.

We are to look to God’s righteousness by faith. We are to let go of our garments of our own righteousness, and be covered by His righteousness. Without this we are not only lost, but honestly self deceived.

Let us also, sincerely pray before God. Asking Him in prayer to have the faith of Jesus Christ. To live according to His righteousness by faith. In complete surrender of self. As He completely surrendered Himself in obedience to God. Loving Him with our all, because He loved us with His all in perfect submission to the Father’s will.
