God The Invisible, Silent observer of The Heart

God is not only omnipotent, having unlimited power, but He’s also omniscient and omnipresent. He has infinite knowledge, He’s all seeing, sees everything, and is everywhere at once. For that reason, none can hide from God. None of us can hide the secret thoughts, impulses and desires of our hearts from Him. He sees that which is contemplated in the imagination of the heart before the action. He knows our hearts individually.

God is Spirit in which we can’t see; and therefore, silently observes the heart. He observes our hearts as a witness. To prove if our hearts are with Him or not. To prove His judgements righteous. To not show any unfair bias based on His fore-knowledge. God then investigates before executing His judgements.

God does not see man how man sees other men. He looks at the heart of man. He looks at its condition and where it is. It is written, “7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

The most frequently asked question is why should I tell God what I think, feel, desire and do if He already knows all things. God wants a relationship with us. A relationship can only be established based on honest communication. Since we’re dishonest being sinners, and He is honest, it’s important to tell Him everything. Hence, the confession of sins, accepting the free gift of God by faith in His Son Jesus Christ before becoming a Christian. To be reconciled back to Him. God wants complete honesty. With complete honesty, He can have our hearts.

Are you completely honest with God? Does He have your heart? Do You have a relationship with Him, where you trust Him with your deepest and darkest secrets? These are the questions we all have to ask ourselves.
